    Customer Reviews

    Overall rating: 4.5 / 5 from 4 reviews.

This variety of spinach seemed to have some advantages so I decided I'd try it. The first planting didn't germinate well. I decided it may need more sunlight and replanted. This planting came up and is growing well so far. Will update in a few weeks when we get to a harvest stage. My plantings are all containers so I can reach them. The seed may do better in ground. The plants look promising so far.

Always happy with Bloomsdale Long Standing spinach. Good germination rate, great flavor, grows well in almost any weather, slow to bolt. Wonderful fresh from the garden, freezes well for use later in the year. Great price, quantity and customer service from Eden Brothers.

Spinach Seeds - Bloomsdale Long Standing

This spinach grows so quickly and is very hardy. In Central MD, I sowed them in a raised bed on March 17 and we've harvested three rounds so far in May.

Spinach Seeds - Bloomsdale Long Standing

I've grown this variety for years in NW AZ, where June temps can hit 112. Bloomsdale Long Standing is well named as it holds up until that severe heat hits. Other varieties I've grown bolt in May. Young leaves <6" are tender and tasty. Older leaves are best cooked.
