One of the most widely grown crops in the world, isn't it time you tried Peanuts in your own garden as well? Peanuts are such a fun novelty item to grow in your planting area. A summer blooming annual, Peanut Seeds need full sun and five solid months of warm weather to grow outdoors, but worry not, colder climates--they do remarkably well indoors in pots! Your peanuts are ready to harvest in late summer/early fall when the leaves begin to yellow. One of the unexpected joys of peanuts are their lovely yellow flowers - they are edible and are excellent in salads!

  • • Short-growing annual with yellow blooms
  • • Open pollinated annual with Summer blooms, and harvest in Fall
  • • Thrives in bright, sunny growing areas

I purchased these seeds. I sowed them and did not get a single shoot, failed to germinate. Such an absolute waste of my time and money!

I was so excited to grow our own peanuts for the first time this year, in a new bed set aside for them, and assumed from your online coverage estimate (up to 80 sq ft / pkt) that I'd get about 4x more seeds than I'd need in one packet. Now it's time for me to start them indoors, and the packet I received from you contains only 16 peanuts, which should cover less than 10 sq ft at your recommended spacing. That's half the coverage I set aside room for based on the product info you provided. Please update your website info for this product to provide accurate coverage.

I am so disappointed after receiving my packet of seeds. The product information says that 1 packet will plant up to 80 feet of peanuts. There were only 15 seeds in the packet (one was broken so not useable). Planting 1 seed every 8 inches will only give me 10 feet of peanuts a far cry from 80 feet.
