Customer photo review of Western Wildflower Seed Mix

Planted this mix late last fall… new garden and new to Colorado so wasn’t sure what to expect. First up were the 5 spot, quickly followed by a variety of gorgeous delicate poppies, now I am awash in corn flowers (bachelor buttons)… stunning and can’t wait to see what develops next!

    Western Wildflower Seed Mix

I nearly bought this seed... then I looked a bit more in depth and saw that it included lemon mint. My sister bought a small amount of lemon mint and it invaded everything smothering out nearly all of her other plants. It spreads as a "runner" through rhizomes so pulling it up is not easy. For her it is terribly invasive. It is strangling out her cosmos and her roses and has transferred itself to every single bed she has. I would read about it before purchasing given how someone is going to use the seed would be a consideration. I wish they would not include this in the seed mix. However, I guess if the goal is to definitely have something grow, this would do the trick.

Beautiful and the flowers just keep blooming and blooming. I planted these in mid June wasn't sure how they were going to do but they grew fast and dense and the flowers have been going for 3 months solid.

I planted these a little bit late in the season, end of May here in zone 5. The patch where I planted a pound of these seeds in my backyard is absolutely BUZZING with bees and butterflies. Right now I have a whole swath of Baby's Breath, and the Bachelor Buttons, California Poppies, and Scarlet Flax are just starting to bloom as well. I'm so excited to go out there every day and see what's blooming because every day is such a huge surprise. I did seed these very thick, so I think when I expand this meadow I will seed them a little thinner. Absolutely killer seed mix, and I will 100% be buying more and more and more.

This was such a great way to get bountiful amounts of seeds for a good price! I will be ordering more in the future.
