The soil doesn’t have to be fertilized, but the site should drain well and receive full sun. Mix wildflower seeds with a few tablespoons of sand and broadcast the mixture over your planting area.

Water the seeds to gently press them into the ground, and monitor the site over the next couple of weeks. Weed the young seedlings and water occasionally, but once wildflower seeds become established they are self-sufficient!
