I’m new to growing ranunculus so I followed the directions. I could have started them a month earlier but I’ll do that next spring. They brew beautifully.

Unlike other reviews, I had no issues germinating my corms. 19 out of 20 have provided stunning blooms, really just gorgeous! My only problem is the colors that have bloomed are pretty different than what is advertised. I understand there will always be some natural variation, however a little over half the corms I received ended up blooming red or orange instead of the pale pinks I was expecting. I will still be purchasing from Eden brothers however I wish there was a bit more of a guarantee about what is advertised and what comes out of the ground.

Customer photo review of Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

I've had my eye on this since I started gardening last year. I ordered it in January and waited anxiously until spring for it to come. When it finally arrived I was disappointed to see that I only got 6 anemone corms, though the website clearly says there would be 10. At that point I seriously considered returning them, but decided not to because I wanted both the anemones and the chamallow ranunculus. Additionally, other retailers were sold out of white anemones with black centers before my corms arrived. Nonetheless, I was excited for my flowers (anticipating 6 anemones and 6 chamallow ranunculus given that 6 of the ranunculus corms were noticeably bigger than the rest). I soaked them for a few hours then planted them- almost all of them germinated. When they finally bloomed, I was very disappointed that all the ranunculus were bright pink and not the two-toned petals that appear light pink as advertised. Lesson learned: if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Customer photo review of Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

I purchased these super excited to grow these colors for easy bouquets as a first time cut flower grower. I ended up with yellow and red ranunculus. Not even sure how this is possible. The yellows has streaks of red/magenta in them. Only gave three stars because they did grow well and flowered a bunch which I am happy about.

Customer photo review of Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

Only 1-2 anemone sprouted and only 1 corn of ranunculus sprouted. The color of my ranunculus that sprouted is dark pink and I don’t think it’s chamallow as in the pic that I paid for. For anemone that grew. They were so beautiful.

All but 2 sprouted and are growing healthy plants. Anemone are blooming now and are beautiful. I’m waiting for the ranunculus to bloom. I’m very happy they turned out—I’ve bought anemone and ranunculus from other sources and didn’t have any luck.

I started the anemone and ranunculus corms and bulbs indoors back in March and slowly introduced them to outdoor temps in April. They sprouted relatively quickly, and are finally flowering now in June!

I was really hoping these bulbs to shoot out but of the 20 only 3 have shoot out. Pretty pricey for just 3 of them. But even the bulbs were questionable did not look so good?

Store owner replied: Hello Angelica T. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We greatly appreciate you sharing your experience with us. It is too warm in your area, to plant these in your warmer zone, in Spring. We suggest fall planting. After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to resolve this for you. Customer photo review of Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

My first time growing these and I am soo amazed by their beauty! Tossed them in a hole in my flower bed with 0 maintenance aside from a lil bit of mulch to protect from the snow in winter. Absolutely stunning. They close up at night and display their dazzling centers during the day.

Customer photo review of Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

I had less than 50% germination for this collection. I did not pre-sprout the corms. I covered them in sub-freezing temps all winter and I’m now being rewarded with beautiful, delicate blooms! I grow them for cut flowers and they have a nice long vase life. I’m only getting blooms from 17 plants, but I’m pleased with the colors and overall health of the plants. Next year, I will pre-sprout my corms.

As shown by the pictures, I don’t know what that purple-blue color flower is, though the success rate is decent

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

Store owner replied: Hello, Rachel Thank you for letting us know your experience with these Anemone. Our apologies they did not bloom with the diverse colors we expected! We will certainly take this information to our growers. We're happy to know our Customer Service Team was able to resolve this for you. Let us know if you have any other issues and we'll be happy to help!

The ones that did come up in my garden looked exactly like the orange and red variety flowers the other person sent photos of below (maybe we received same batch?) and nothing like what I ordered or the rest of my garden. Very disappointing at that price point not to receive what I ordered because once they are in the ground you have no idea what will come up

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

Store owner replied: Hello H. Thank you for your review, and we appreciate your patience while it was being posted. We are very sorry that this collection did not bloom as expected! We understand how disappointing it is to invest in a carefully selected color palette only to have the flowers bloom differently once they're established. We are glad we were able to connect with you directly and provide a resolution when you first brought this to our attention. Your feedback also helped us identify an issue with this particular batch, which has since been reported to our grower and resolved. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention and for helping us continue to improve. We truly appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to make things right!

The plants grew but no blooms so what's the point?

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

Store owner replied: Hello Darlene T. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, as feedback like this helps us continue to improve our products and planting expectations. They often won’t bloom when planted in spring in Zone 9 because these flowers are cool-season growers. They need to be planted in fall or very early winter in mild climates so they can take advantage of cooler temperatures to establish and set buds. From our follow-up with Customer Service, it looks like we were able to assist you, and we’re glad we could help!

Extremely disappointed. I planted tulips and they grew. I planted peonies, lilies, poppies (all in different and appropriate areas) and all of these grew. Not a single one of these bulbs grew. :(

After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to resolve this for you. Thanks for your time in sharing your experience with us!

Read the instructions and did our best to follow them diligently but had (almost) zero results. One pot managed to show us some sprouting but died after just a couple days. These particular Anemones were part of my wedding bouquet so very disappointed that they did not grow or bloom. Considering trying again but not sure......

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

Store owner replied: Hello SteffiG. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Feedback like this is invaluable, as it allows us to work with our growers to prevent similar issues in the future. We always strive for our customers to have beautiful flowers and completely understand your frustration when results don’t match expectations. We’re glad we could find a resolution for you and truly appreciate the opportunity to continue being part of your gardening journey! We’re especially sorry to hear about your experience with the anemones, knowing how meaningful they are to you. These bulbs can sometimes be tricky, as they require very well-drained soil and consistent cool conditions to establish, and even with diligent care, results can vary. We understand your disappointment and would be glad to provide additional tips if you decide to try again!

I followed the directions. None of these germinated.

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

Store owner replied: Hello mjhuetteman. Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with us! In your warmer planting planting zone, anemones and ranunculus grow best when planted in fall, as they need cool, moist conditions to establish. If planted later, the warming weather can cause weak growth or early dormancy, and heavy or dry soil can also affect success. We understand how disappointing that can be and appreciate your feedback as it helps us guide customers toward the best planting times for your region. After checking in with our Customer Service Team, it looks like we were able to assist you further. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us and we are here to help you have a better experience going forward!

Everything‘s sprouted greenery looks great, but I only got one ranunculus that was small. The anemones were nice. Hoping next year they will do better

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

Store owner replied: Hello Faith. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! It's so important to have feedback like this so we can continually improve our products and planting instructions. In warmer zones like yours, ranunculus and anemone bulbs are best planted in the fall (typically October to November), which allows them to grow strong roots over the cooler winter months and bloom beautifully in early spring. When planted in late winter or early spring in Zone 8, they often don’t have enough cool weather to fully develop, resulting in weak or minimal blooms, even if the foliage looks great. After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to assist you with this. Thanks for your time in sharing your experience with us!

I was so disappointed when not one of these bloomed, because these are some of my favorite flowers. I had a small sprout of ranunculus start to form but never produced a bloom.

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

If you ever have any other concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to us and we'll be happy to do all we can to assist. Thanks again for your review and best wishes for your growing season!

I purchased 40 bulbs and planted and cared for them and only 1 flower grew one time. They did not come back despite being perennials. This entire batch of bulbs I got seem to have been lemons because almost my entire garden is Eden Bros.

I planted these last spring as they were listed as spring-planted bulbs. As a first-time grower, I was mistaken and thought they would bloom in the fall. I did see some green leafing but no flowers. Well, a year later, the anemones are blooming! Very pretty and worth the wait. Unfortunately, I don’t have any ranunculus blooms so far. I’ll come back and provide an update if that changes though.

I can't speak for the anemones as I've never grown them but these are some of the wordt ranuculus corms I've ever seen. Most don't have any eyes so I doubt anything will come from them and most were broken to smithereens in the package. I'm very sad about it because I love growing ranuculus.

I had a phenomenal germination rate with the anemone which were beautiful but my ranunculus never showed, even after carefully soaking them prior to planting and planting them in raised beds in a light soaked area. Sad about the ranunculus as they are some of my favorites and Ive grown them before with no problem

I was so excited when I purchased these. The color motif fit with exactly what I was trying to achieve in my garden. However, I was gravely disappointed when only one plant showed up after being planted. And the next year none….don’t waste your money or your time buy from more reputable grower

I planted all of these back in November and exactly two anemones have sprouted. That's it. I'm very disappointed and am inclined to never order from Eden Brothers again.

I’m in Houston (9b) and planted these late fall. Saw green leafy shoots in under 2 weeks. Covered them for freezes, and they have popped some lovely anemone. It’s mid march and I have only 3 feeble ranunculus. I’m not experienced with corms so perhaps it’s my error. Hoping they’re true perennial and I see better showing next year.

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

I ordered 3 packages of this mix but there were only about 6-7 anemone corms per package. The corms for both, were very small in general, to others I've purchased and a lot of the ranunculus corms had broken pieces. Based on other reviews, this seems consistent. I'm also cautiously optimistic about how many white vs. pink blooms I will get. Sounds like you don't get an even mix. I'll try to remember to review again, after they all bloom and send a photo of the colors that I do get.

These were on sale in the Spring, so I took a gamble and ordered them to experiment with planting them late. Received mid-May, planted late May in 3 different pots. I set two in the shade and one in the sun. I thought it would be too hot in the summer, but to my surprise the ones in the sun did the best - in the shade some of them got mildewy. They all sprouted quickly - within a few weeks. I had both anemone and ranunculus blooms in August (some white, one pink.) Then they started sending up new leaves in the fall, and I had anemone blossoms starting in December. Those are still going strong. There are very healthy ranunculus leaves, so I expect flowers in the coming weeks. Very pleased with this purchase! (Photo is from August). (I am in Zone 10A, so highs seldom above 80s.)

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

Just planted the corms and I received 6 anemones and 10 ranunculus. Hoping these grow well but disappointed in the number of corms and that they weren’t an even 10 each.

Anemone & Ranunculus - Paris In Spring Collection

Store owner replied: Hello Jill, Thank you for your review! We appreciate you letting us know about your contents of this mix. Our corms do come to us prepackaged, so we greatly appreciate you letting us know of your experience. We'll let our growers know of this instance, as we want our customer to receive the correct number of corms and be satisfied with their purchase. We're happy that we were able to come to a satisfactory resolution for you and look forward to continuing gardening with you!

I had a lovely showing of the white anemones, but only 1 white ranunculus and no pinks. I was sad to not see the ranunculus which are my favorites, and I bought for the colors, so I would not order these again. I also had germination only in one pot, which was large (around 25g), my smaller pots (still about 5+ gallons) did not do well (but the gladiolus did! That was a learning experience for me, not on the company. Though, I feel the variety/no ranunculus was a disappointment that I feel the company could improve on.

I planted these immediately upon arrival because I was going to use them to contribute to my sisters wedding... however none sprouted... it's really sad because of the excitement I had for them. I think I've finally given up hope. I'm an experienced grower this is the first time I've come across something where literally nothing grew.

For the price, it’s not worth the purchase. If the plant germinated at all the buds were tiny and nothing like the photo. They’ve died back or went to seed very quickly.

These corms were 100% germinated following the Floret guidelines for growing. This was fun! And when I got blooms, I got BLOOMS! They are gorgeous, but I have only seen white ranunculus and coral colored and white with pink streaked anemones. Not anything like the color variety in the pictures. Im pleased with germination, and as a first time grower that makes me happy!

I was initially disappointed that the description online says 10x ranunculus and 10x anemones and I received a package of 13 ranunculus and 7 anemones, it seems to be a trend with Eden brothers that orders don't match the online description. I planted them after the last frost, soaked them for 2 hours then planted them 3 inches deep in well draining soil and kept the soil moist. I have had 6 sprout, but haven't not grown past a few leaves and never bloomed.

This was my first time growing both anemones and ranunculus, and I am so happy with the results! I presprouted and planted in January, keeping them covered for the most part (in zone 8b). The mix I received was 7 anemone and 13 ranunculus - I have 3-4 pink ranunculus and the rest are white. They are producing so many blooms and the flowers are gorgeous!
