I’ve never bought astilbe as a root before but it was easy to plant. They took off quick too and are all doing great! Very happy with these.

Astilbe Roots - Pink & Purple Mix

We planted 17 roots in a shady spot. They have been kept moist. All have grown, but only 1 has flowered. Waiting to see what happens next year.

Store owner replied: Hello Jennifer V. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. It's so important to have feedback like this so we can continually improve our products and planting expectations. It's completely normal not to see blooms in the first year. The plants usually focus on establishing a strong root system during their initial season, so while you may see some healthy foliage, flowering typically won’t occur until the following summer. After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to resolve this for you. Thanks for your time in sharing your experience with us!
