I have planted the Hopi Blue corn as part of "Three sisters" for about 3-4 years now.. I use it to grind up for flour. This year I have had mixed results because of a renegade Squirrel, causing me to replant after he dug up seeds, resulting in corn of different maturity in the same stand as well as being too densely planted, However, I am starting to harvest drier corn for final drying in my house. The corn, incidentally, is ten feet tall and has Scarlett Runner Beans growing up all the way to the top. ( they will produce until frost)
