Calendula Seeds - Pink Surprise

Store owner replied: Hello SMB. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear that your Pink Surprise and Ivory Calendula did not produce the bloom colors you were expecting. We understand how disappointing that is, especially when you carefully selected these varieties for their unique colors and even provided comparison photos. While growing conditions can sometimes influence the intensity of calendula flower color, they would not typically cause this. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we've shared your report and photos with our Quality Control team, who are actively investigating these reports with our growers. We are glad we had the opportunity to provide a resolution and appreciate you working with our Customer Care team. We stand behind our products, and feedback like yours helps us continue improving the quality of the varieties we offer!

Store owner replied: Hello Deb Elle. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that they didn't quite live up to your expectations. We understand how disappointing it is when a variety doesn't produce the bloom size or soft coloring you were hoping for. Bloom size and color can vary depending on growing conditions, including temperatures, sunlight, and soil fertility, with cooler weather often encouraging richer color and larger blooms. For the fullest flowers, calendula performs best in full sun, with consistent moisture and regular deadheading to encourage continuous blooming. Avoiding excess nitrogen fertilizer can also help the plants direct more energy into producing flowers rather than leafy growth. We are glad we were able to assist you and provide a resolution. Thank you for sharing your experience, as it helps us continue evaluating our varieties and ensuring we're offering the quality our customers expect!
