    I raise dahlias. They make beautiful bouquets. I begin to grown carnations to put in the bouquets for the lovely scent they added. I get lots of compliments on the Picotee Mix. They add a delicate, elegant look as a filler and a lovely scent to my bouquets. They can be a little challenging to start from seed but so far I have had a good stand and they grow nicely once I can put them outside.

    Carnation Seeds - Picotee Mix

    I started these carnation seeds in March under lights and I was surprised and pleased to see that every seed had sprouted in 10-15 days, in the past I never had this success with seeds from other companies. I live in a suburb near Chicago and I will plant them outside in Late May after hardening them. The plants are now over 2 inches tall and very healthy looking. Can't wait to see them flowering and enjoying their perfumed scent! Great seeds, I will buy some tomato seeds next year, I am sure all type of seeds are good quality from this company. It is hard to find a carnation selection like this anywhere else, I am sure tomato types and other veggies etc. too. Franco M
