I purchased three different cosmo seeds and started all together. The other two are doing great. NONE of these came up. There were also half as many seeds in this pack to begin so a pricey failure.
Store owner replied: Hello Becky. Thank you for sharing your experience and for the helpful comparison with the other two Cosmos varieties you started at the same time. Cosmos are generally quick to germinate in warm conditions when sown shallowly and kept consistently moist but not saturated, so having two varieties establish successfully under the same care while none of this variety emerged is useful information and understandably disappointing. Some specialty varieties are packaged with lower seed counts than more common Cosmos cultivars, which can make unsuccessful germination especially frustrating when there are fewer seeds available to try.
