I bought these on sale late in the season in '25 (June), and planted immediately. They grew but didn't bloom that year, as I expected. This year they are getting established nicely. I bought pack of 3. Blooming, it is clear that one is "Polar Star" which bloomed early July; the other two are blooming mid-July - both "Distant Drum".
Planted six of these and had beautiful blooms but only single petal varieties

To date, the bulbs have not bloomed. I haven’t had much success with bulbs

Only 1 out of 3 bulbs sprouted. It hasn't bloomed yet because I ordered pretty late in the season. I'm hoping it is the right variety.

Oriental lily bulbs planted in July in warmer planting zones often won’t sprout the same season, as the summer heat can keep them dormant. This is normal, and the bulbs usually wait until the following spring to emerge once conditions are cooler and more favorable. With good drainage and a light layer of mulch for winter protection, they should establish well and produce blooms in future seasons. We’re glad to see our Customer Service Team was able to follow up with you, and provide some assistance. My bulbs recently started blooming but unfortunately I wasn't sent the double oriental bulbs. Mine instead are are single layered & a deep maroon. Very disappointed.

As a huge fan of stargazers, this double lily intrigued me so I bought some. A few were planted in an outside flower bed and several in pots inside, just to see how they did in both environments. As noted by other reviewers, they did take a few months to come up and the produce the fabulous and fragrant finale. Both the bulbs planted inside/outside responded similarly. I wish there was an upload option to post photos because they are so gorgeous you can't imagine. There are more than double petals and the scent is much like the stargazer. I was delighted when the first huge bloom opened up and it opened for days. The scent is like the stargazer. Wish I could post photos. It is a thumbs up! Buying more in the fall so I can have in the front flower bed and in the house to enjoy. You will be glad you tried these!
These flowers are so beautiful and grow so easily. Takes about three months to bloom. Highly reccommend.
