Customer photo review of Echinacea Roots - Purple

I spent a lot of money for roots and all I got was roots, no crown or anything. As you can see in the picture, all I received was ROOTS. They were packed in a moist mixture and the all rotted. I was so disappointed to receive this. What a waste of money.

Only 1 out of 3 roots sprouted in my timer irrigated beds. The one that did sprout looks so sad. Hardly any flowers.

Store owner replied: Hello Savannah Bartlett. We appreciate you sharing your experience with Eden Brothers. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us enhance our products. We will be passing this along to our growers. The wet spring might have had they rot out, or if it warmed up too quickly they could have gone dormant. They can come back stronger if this is the case. We’re happy our Customer Service Team could assist you, and we wish you a beautiful and thriving garden this season and in the years to come!

None of the roots developed into full plants.

Not one has sprouted. In the high desert, so growing conditions are very hard — I’m sure it’s the soil/climate — but I had hoped!

I LOVE Echinacea and got these purple colored ones to add pop to my pollinator garden. Sadly, I didn't get a single sprout, leaf or anything. I'd post a photo if something actually grew, sadly I can't say if these were a pretty color.

Ordered roots for both coneflower and black eyed susan. order in winter to be shipped "at the right time". Recieved in spring and planted about two months ago. Two problems: 1. While I ordered two packs of 3 echinacea roots, I only received 5 roots. 2. Only one of 3 Rudbeckia came up, and only one of 5 echinacea roots sprouted. That's in a garden and area that has been routinely very fertile, and care that was on-point. Have had excellent results with peonies, for instance, so disappointed with this result.
