Echinacea Sunseekers Mineola is a striking hybrid coneflower with its semi-double orange-tangerine blooms and bold, brown cones. As part of the Sunseekers collection, it's bred for exceptional vigor, abundant non-fading flowers, and a dense, compact habit, staying under two to three feet in height and width. This collection offers fantastic winter interest, providing seeds for overwintering birds, and attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies, making it a true garden treasure.

Echinacea Roots - Sunseekers Mineola
Store owner replied: Hello Mark G. Thank you for sharing your experience, as not seeing anything emerge yet is understandably upsetting. Echinacea roots can sometimes be slow to break dormancy, and a June planting in Zone 9 puts newly planted roots under considerable heat stress before they’ve had much opportunity to establish. If the crown remains healthy underground, there is still a possibility it could emerge during more favorable conditions or return next spring. We are glad you accepted our help and resolution and are willing to give it another try. We hope a fresh start earlier in the growing season gives your Echinacea the opportunity to establish strongly and become a beautiful, long-lasting addition to your garden!
My roots never sprouted.

Echinacea Roots - Sunseekers Mineola
Store owner replied: Hello Melinda. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as feedback like yours helps us improve both our products and planting guidance. During the heat of summer, root systems can dry out or become stressed, which often impacts visible growth. For echinacea, planting earlier in the season or waiting until fall typically provides the best conditions for strong establishment and healthy return the following year. We’re glad our Customer Service Team was able to connect with you and offer a resolution. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience!
Not all of them grew (bare root) and none have bloomed this season.

Echinacea Roots - Sunseekers Mineola
Store owner replied: Hello Sandee S. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. It's so important to have feedback like this so we can continually improve our products and planting instructions. In the heat of midsummer, roots can dry out quickly or go into stress, which often prevents good top growth. Planting earlier or waiting until fall usually gives echinacea the best chance to settle in and return strong the following season. After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to offer you a resolution. Thanks for your time in sharing your experience with us!
