These grew easily and looked great. I live in and area that is a bit cold for them but I had no trouble at all.

I was only able to get 1 seed to germinate, and that 1 seed that did germinate has struggled this entire time.

Eucalyptus Seeds - Silver Dollar
Store owner replied: Hello Katie. Thank you for your feedback, and we’re glad we were able to provide a resolution for you. Eucalyptus can sometimes be a bit slow or inconsistent to germinate, even under good conditions. The seeds generally perform best when surface sown with light, steady warmth, and consistent moisture, as covering them too deeply or allowing conditions to fluctuate can reduce germination success. In Zone 8 especially, starting them indoors earlier in the season or in a more controlled environment often leads to better and more reliable results. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience and always want to help our customers have the best possible planting success!
Ive purchased these seeds 2 years in a row and germination rates are great. Very happy.

I had fairly good germination but my tiny plants kept slowly dying so finally i decided to just plant the few that were left outside beings i had nothing to lose. But amazingly they took off! Even though they were just an inch tall or so yet. They have been healthily growing ever since! I am so pleased with how they ended up turning out! They are healthy and beautiful!

I just planted these seeds (all 50 from the seed packet), and I've already had 10+ sprout after just 5 days! I was so surprised to see so many this early, since the packet said up to 2-3 weeks for germination. I've grown eucalyptus before with seeds from another company, and had very low and slow germination, which can be common. I did soak the seeds as recommended on the packet, and I'm using a heat mat. I'm very excited to watch these grow!

I was told there were tricky to germinate and extremely finicky and I found that to be true. Knowing what I did, I went all out and planted every single seed in the packet. I had about 50% germination rate and from that I have 11 baby eucalyptuses that are several inches tall. The survivors seem to be hardier than most of my other seedlings and none of them suffered from sun scald as I hardened them off.

I’ve had very good germination with other seeds from Eden Brothers but these Silver Dollar Eucalyptus gave me no germination at all. I did do as the directions asked and have grown these from a different company successfully last year.

I did have a good outcome at all. None of the seeds even germinated. I have been growing plants inside and in the garden for over 50 years, and was looking forward to growing Ecalyptus. I had read that in some areas of the world they are invasive. So I figured I would have no problem. My sister bought some Eucalyptus seeds also from here and did not get any germination either.
