Zone 4-5 clay soil thats been amended. Ordered 9 and 3 grew but those 3 have giant blooms and smell so amazing. Pretty bummed the other 6 didnt grow but I'm very happy with the 3 I have.
Each year our Lilly gets bigger and bigger with more blossoms. Last year it was 7 feet and bloomed for almost 8 weeks. This spring two plants sprouted and they are already thriving, way ahead of last year’s growth.
These are some of the most beautiful flowers I've ever grown! The scent is mesmerizing and you can smell them from afar. I can't wait to see how tall they get this season! I ordered 3 bulbs last year and got a total of 8 HUGE flowers, they are literally the size of a head! They were also incredibly easy to grow and never developed a pest problem or bacterial disease. Order them!!!
This is the first year for these bulbs, and they exceeded expectations. The blooms are big, creamy vanilla curls and they are absolutely delightful. Stems are maybe 20-24” high. I grew them in containers but will transplant them in the future. Thank you, Eden Brothers!
I planted these lilies in 2023 and only got one bloom - but I knew they were just getting established. This year I got 11 enormous fragrant blooms and a couple of volunteers growing for future seasons. These flowers are stunning. The blooms last at least a week and during that time you get to enjoy their wonderful fragrance, which to me smells more like a tuberose than a lily. The fragrance is noticeable, especially in the evening, but not overpowering. I have three of these planted in the garden. The tallest one is probably a little over 6 feet tall and the other two are probably about 4 1/2 feet. I expect them to be taller next year, but even if they stayed at this height it’s wonderful. I did stake the tallest one, even though the stem is sturdy. It was leaning, and I wanted the plant to be more upright.
Grew exactly as explained in the description. Bought and planted in 2023, grew leaves about a foot tall. This year they're about 4 foot tall and blooming like crazy. Cannot wait to see how big they get in 2025!
I purchased 3 of these back in April, planted them at the end of the month and they are already over a foot tall. Planted them 6 inches deep as instructed. They germinated within 10 days – I was impressed! Our soil is quite clay-like, I use compost and fertilize but the area I planted these in is truthfully not the best draining. These guys are thriving regardless. Strongly recommend!!

I was very excited and hopeful for this flower. But the shipping didn’t live up to my expectations, really, anyone’s expectations. I am surprised that this thing even made it from coast to coast without falling out. I am a repeat customer and have had good experiences with Eden brothers in the past, but that just make this seem like the lowest of the low. When I do open this box, I will be hopeful but not surprised, if this “bulb” isn’t really root pulp.

I got 3 bulbs and 2/3 are alive and growing. They are just shy of one foot now, if I am able to I will update with a picture when they bloom.
I planted 7 of these bulbs last year in an extremely large pot. They came up, but did not bloom, so I waited. I wrapped the pot in burlap and bubble wrap for the winter. They came back this year, with 11 plants instead of 7, and are blooming spectacularly!!!!! Thanks, Eden! They are gorgeous!!!!

I have purchased these twice. My first ones are 4 years old. They were taller than me (5'5") this summer and covered in big, beautiful blooms. The fragrance is wonderful. My best lily purchase ever!
This is such a beautiful, Giant OT lily! I have several now and I am always asked by friends and by passerbys what they are. When I tell them, they are shocked by how tall the plant is and how large the flowers are! I highly recommend getting this to add to your garden backdrop. Easy to grow and absolutely gorgeous!

Grew these up in pots their first year, and they grew to be 4’ feet tall, this is the second year and they’re already over a foot tall, with more fresh sprouts still coming out of the ground. Can’t wait to see how tall they’ll get this year, let alone in their third year. Seems to me that the poor reviews are coming from people who unfortunately planted these bulbs in the wrong conditions, whether that be light, soil or both.
I purchased these bulbs in June and immediately planted them in the bed with other Zambesi Lilies. They never germinated...:-(
Maybe it was simply too late in the season for coastal Carolina 9A.

Fast growing, healthy plants emerged from the bulbs, shipping was fast, price was low.
Not just a queen, a khaleesi! She performed very well in her first year, but WOW just wait until year two. I felt compelled to come back and write this review. This jaw-dropping bombshell is by far the most fragrant flower in my late summer garden. She stands tall up on her pedestal making a mockery of all my other late summer perennials! I brought her inside to spare them the embarrassment. Massive flowers on sturdy stems, very long-lasting in the vase.
I can't underscore this enough: her scent is so enrapturing, it will make you believe in god and perfume your entire house for weeks on end. I try to stay strong, but every time I walk past the vase, her hold over me intensifies and I have the overwhelming urge to speak profanities. Lord help me, I'm ordering more so I can have an utterly gratuitous amount next summer.
