Plant as a border or in containers dotting your patio. Ranunculus are easy to grow and do well in vases, so be sure to plant enough to enjoy both in and outdoors. Colder zones need to start ranunculus indoors end of winter while warmer zones can direct sow in fall.

Note: In Zones 8–10, ranunculus are grown as perennials—plant in fall for spring blooms. In Zones 4–7, they are treated as cool-season annuals. Start corms indoors in late winter and transplant after nights stay above 30°F, or dry-store them and plant in spring after hard frosts.

I'm a novice for sure. They didn't come up, and now I've googled to learn there are way more steps than the package or this site led me to understand. So maybe I'll try again but these are not novice friendly.

At least half of what germinated for us was pure, bright yellow. The other half were as listed, but are not doing nearly as well as the yellow despite identical growing conditions. The listing states "A romantic pairing of two-toned petals in orange and burgundy...". This is so disappointing. This product needs more work or an updated description. Feeling duped. Will be looking elsewhere for flowers next year.
