With a beautiful color palette, numerous ruffled petals and incredible fragrance, Roselily Samantha has come to dazzle in your garden's cutting bed. Stacked blossoms give the roselily its signature look, as the numerous sets replace the pollen-bearing anthers and therefore giving it a fuller appearance and lighter fragrance. Being pollen-free, these double Oriental lilies are exceptionally well-suited to bring indoors and enjoy in vases dotted around your home.

I bought my first home last year so this is my first season being able to plant any flowers. I ordered lily-of-the-valley bulbs from this website which almost all sprouted quickly. With my purchase I received Samantha lily bulbs as a mystery gift with purchase and all three have sprouted! I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing but the directions on this website seem to be what has made the bulbs are successful In my yard.
I bought these and some other roselilies on a "late sale" in the spring, so received them late spring and planted them in early June. It was an experiment, to see if they would still bloom. They did not disappoint! They bloomed just beautifully in September. The attached photo was taken Sept 30. They were in an area partly shaded by nearby plants, so not full-sun in the hottest part of summer. The area gets watered weekly. I'm in 10A, so it isn't too hot for long stretches. I planted another set of roselily bulbs in an area with more direct sun that receives less water- they grew but not as tall or as healthy. A third set I put in a pot, in a partly shaded area - they were beautiful, as well (those were white ones), and bloomed a bit earlier - mid August.
My favorite flower has been the Rubrium lily/Stargazer. The longevity, the color and the wonderful fragrance that fills a room, all made it my top choice. Anyone who has had the experience of brushing up to the orange stamen and trying to get it out of clothes, knows the down side to that beauty. The ROSELILY is superb! The extra petals instead of stamen make it even more lovely and rose like. The bloom is just divine--large, long lasting and wonderfully fragrant. I grew some in a flower bed and some in pots...all of them grew and produced gorgeous blooms. They did well in the heat outside and equally fine in pots inside. I added some plant food for blooming flowers and planted with peat, a little vermiculite and good garden soil. Photo 1 was grown inside in a pot. The second shot was outside with my Eden Bros gladiolus. When I moved some from one pot to another, they had already started to multiply. In addition to the Samantha, I got a few other varieties and enjoyed them as well. Can't wait for the next season. I think I have a new favorite!
The first year it grow just like the piciture. I would admire it daily. Then last year nothing came up. I am not sure as I thought lilies gets better with time. So far the asiatics and trumpets are more reliable but I prefer this type of color. I don’t want to waste a growing season waiting to see of these somehow died in the ground or what. I grow lots if lilies but this one along with royal sunset are my fave.

Hello Donna S. Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We’re so sorry to hear that they didn’t sprout as expected. Planting in early July, in your area, can be challenging, since the intense summer heat often causes lilies to remain dormant instead of producing growth right away. They usually perform best when planted during a cooler time of year. Adding a light mulch can help protect the bulbs, so they’re ready to grow when the season is right. After our Customer Service Team reached out, it seems we were able to offer a resolution for you. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review and hope you are having a beautiful gardening season!

Hello LindaRose L. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. It's so important to have feedback like this so we can continually improve our products and planting instructions. Planting in midsummer heat can stress the bulbs and shorten their growing season. In many cases, they focus on establishing roots their first year and will come back stronger with blooms the following season. After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to resolve this for you. Thanks for your time in sharing your experience with us!
These are a very beautiful and fully scented lily. Keep them protected from animals as all of my lilies got eaten by animal's and never got to enjoy them this year,
