Customer photo review of Pansy Seeds - Swiss Giants Ullswater

I started these Swiss Giants Ullswater in a dark bathroom, on a heat mat with humidity domes. They germinated quickly and then I moved them into the light. I started them mid-Feb and they were ready to move outdoors in April (zone 7). They thrived in the Spring, but don't seem to be a big fan of our hot humid St. Louis summers. I've trimmed them back and am hoping for another beautiful showing in the Fall. They pair beautifully with Sweet Alyssum.

I direct sowed these in the fall and they over wintered outside I didn’t know if they would actually take but they did! and they started sprouting late winter and now are in full bloom and I love the long stems for cutting!
